Assure Technical becomes an Assured Service Provider for the NCSC’s new Cyber Advisor scheme
Assure Technical is pleased to announce its new status as an NCSC Assured Service Provider for Cyber Advisors. The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is the cyber security department of the UK Government and part of GCHQ.
This prestigious designation underscores our commitment to delivering top-tier cyber security services and our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of excellence in the industry.
The Cyber Advisor scheme was launched in April 2023. It aims to provide UK small and medium-sized businesses with a trusted network of cyber professionals to deliver cost-effective advice and support.
Cyber Advisors will initially focus on helping organisations to implement Cyber Essentials, which mitigates the majority of high volume, low-skill attacks perpetrated through the internet, including ransomware attacks.
Process involved in becoming an Assured Service Provider for the Cyber Advisor Scheme
To be accepted as an Assured Service Provider for the Cyber Advisor scheme, Assure Technical had to meet the NCSC’s rigorous standards. One of our longstanding team members, Pete Lannon, also passed the independent Cyber Advisor assessment to test his knowledge and understanding of Cyber Essentials, as well as his competence in delivering practical, hands-on IT configuration and support. In addition, he was tested on his ability to understand and work with small organisations.
Assure Technical’s position as a trusted cyber advisor solidified
IASME has partnered with the NCSC to deliver the Cyber Advisor scheme. CEO, Dr Emma Philpott MBE says, ‘It can be hard to know where to find consultants that offer reliable and appropriate advice on cyber security, especially for SMEs. IASME is proud to deliver the NCSC’s Cyber Advisor scheme to provide a trusted source of good cyber security advice for small organisations.’
This recognition further solidifies Assure Technical’s position as a trusted advisor and ally to organisations seeking to fortify their digital defences against evolving cyber threats.
“We are thrilled to be recognised as an NCSC Assured Service Provider for the Cyber Advisor scheme.” said Pete Rucinski, Managing Director of Assure Technical. “This achievement is a testament to the hard work and expertise of our dedicated team. We remain steadfast in our mission to empower businesses with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate the complex landscape of cyber security.”
Now more than ever, clients can confidently leverage our services, knowing they are aligned with the NCSC’s rigorous standards for excellence and security.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for Assure Technical, solidifying our reputation as a leader in the realm of cyber security. With the Assured Cyber Advisor designation, we are poised to offer unparalleled expertise, support, and solutions to our clients as they navigate the dynamic and ever-changing cyber security landscape.
