Cyber Resilience Centre Trusted Partner

18th Nov 2020

We are delighted to announce that Assure Technical has become a Cyber Resilience Centre trusted partner.

We have joined the West Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre (WMCRC), which provides support to regional SMEs, supply chain businesses and third sector organisations to combat cyber crime.

The WMCRC is modelled on a successful structured collaboration acclaimed by the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC).

Universities and regional police forces also form part of the partnership, to ensure we have the finger on the pulse when it comes to local and national information on emerging cyber threats, criminal trends, best practice for cyber resilience and new technology.

A key service we are offering within the partnership is Cyber Essentials. Assure Technical has been IASME Accredited since 2017.  Since then, we have supported hundreds of organisations, from a wide range of industries, achieve Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials PLUS and IASME Governance certifications.

Alison Hurst, Director of the West Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre, said: “I’m delighted to have Pete Rucinski join as one of our Trusted Partners. Pete’s experience in cyber, physical and information security risk management across the Defence and Commercial sectors, will be invaluable in helping the WMCRC provide business owners in the region, with timely advice in order to aid the preparation and protection of their business, staff and clients from cyber criminals.”
