Pete is an industry leader in the field of technical security.
An NCSC Certified Cyber Professional, a Chartered Engineer, an IT professional and a former Royal Navy Weapon Engineer Officer, Pete’s seen it all!
He cut his teeth in the UK armed forces, ensuring maximum operational availability of weapons, sensors, computers, and communications systems across the globe. Moreover, this experience gave him a unique perspective on the importance of robust security in high-pressure environments.
When he joined the commercial sector, Pete realised that technical security was often overly complicated:
‘I founded Assure Technical to provide jargon-free, down-to-earth technical security that is designed with the consumer in mind at all times.’
A keen adventurer, Pete recently pushed the boundaries of remote working by sailing trans-Atlantic with his young family while maintaining full business operations. During this voyage, his cyber claim to fame emerged – completing a Cyber Essentials certification 1,000 miles off the coast of Africa, which we believe to be a world record!
We believe that it is our duty as a business to make the world a better place in any way that we can.
That’s why we are proactively working towards obtaining B-Corporation status – in order to balance profit with purpose.
