Location: Malvern, Worcestershire – Office Based

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to help drive operational efficiency, foster team collaboration, and support the successful delivery of our security services and solutions.

The Role:

As Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of our day-to-day business operations. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will oversee project delivery, internal processes, resource planning, supplier management, and compliance frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, streamline procedures, and help deliver outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and improve day-to-day operations across all departments
• Coordinate project delivery to ensure deadlines, budgets and client expectations are consistently met
• Manage internal systems and workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Lead operational planning and forecasting activities
• Act as a key point of contact for vendors, partners and suppliers
• Support compliance with relevant industry standards and certifications
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation
• Collaborate with senior management to shape company strategy and support growth
• Champion our company values and help maintain a positive, high-performance culture

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in an operations management or similar leadership role
• Strong understanding of operational best practices, preferably within a technical or cybersecurity environment
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management tools and systems
• Strong commercial acumen and decision-making abilities
• Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of Penetration Testing, SaaS and cybersecurity frameworks or standards e.g. Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001
• Experience working in a scale-up or SME environment
• PRINCE2, Agile, or similar project management certification
• Cyber Security/Information Governance Qualifications, e.g. CSTM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor qualification 
• Evidence of continued professional development in leadership or operations-related fields
