Purpose of the Role:
As a key member of our delivery team you will report to the Operations Manager. You will be working to support Assure Technical clients to improve their security and business resilience whilst working in accordance with the core values of Assure Technical.
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform security assessments of client systems including the following:
- Penetration Testing
- Security Audits
- Information Governance Audits
- Assisting in the development of penetration testing processes, methodologies, and techniques
- Conduct penetration testing on target systems and networks to simulate real-world attacks in accordance with the company approved methodology
- Analysing results to identify vulnerabilities and potential security weaknesses
- Document findings and prepare detailed reports on the results of security assessments and penetration tests, including recommendations for remediation and mitigation of identified vulnerabilities
- Conducting Cyber Essentials/Cyber Essentials PLUS assessments
- Providing guidance and support to clients to help them achieve Cyber certifications and protect their businesses
- Develop and maintain an expert understanding of the Cyber Essentials standards, including any changes.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering Cyber Advice and following up with client queries in accordance with the relevant SLAs.
- Provide detailed reports and recommendations to clients to address identified issues.
- Conduct IASME Cyber Assurance assessments.
- Provide guidance and support to clients to help them achieve Cyber and Information Governance certifications and protect their businesses.
- Lead junior members of the delivery team, providing support and mentorship as required, conducting periodic one-to-one meetings with team members, managing workloads and ensuring business objectives are met.
- Assist with the coordination of operations and delivery, liaising with the Operations Manager as required.
Supporting Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise as may be required by the business
- Support and work with other business functions as required
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging threats
- Continually improve skills and knowledge in line with company objectives
- Conduct training and team mentoring sessions to support the development of the delivery team in line with business objectives
Job Location:
Office based in Malvern with the ability to work from home periodically.
There may be a requirement for you to perform tasks on-site at various customer locations across the UK and overseas as required. You are required to live within 1 hour of our Malvern Office
Training:
We offer a range of training opportunities in both Cyber technical testing and Information Governance areas. All staff are provided with a bespoke and personalised training plan to develop skills, knowledge and achieve their full potential.
A Multiple of These Qualifications Required:
Either CRT, CSTM or OSCP
ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
CE Assessor / CE Plus Assessor
