Are you an experienced Marketing Manager looking for a new challenge? 

Assure Technical is a rapidly expanding, family-run technical security company based in the Malvern Hills, Worcestershire.  We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our friendly and supportive team.  Whilst existing experience is important, the successful candidate will need to be able to bring a lot to the table through understanding the needs of our business, proposing and then delivering the best solutions to support our expansion.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and creative individual who strives for excellence.  You will be a key member of our management team, responsible for building brand awareness, driving leads and managing customer lifetime value to support our business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work with the Commercial Director to create the marketing strategy for the business
• Develop and implement effective marketing plans
• Research and analyse market trends and competitors to inform strategy
• Oversee delivery of marketing campaigns
• Attend weekly management meetings and work effectively with the management team
• Third-party marketing agency management
• Managing the design and production of promotional materials
• Oversee the company’s attendance at trade shows and conferences
• Social media management
• Copywriting and content management
• Effective data analytics, fostering a continuous improvement approach to maximise ROI
• PR and corporate communications
• Control marketing budgets
• Oversee delivery of marketing KPI management reporting
• E-commerce website management
• Develop effective email marketing, PPC, social media and digital advertising channels
• Develop content strategy and create engaging material for all marketing collateral
• Develop an effective SEO strategy
• Be our brand ambassador, ensuring all communications are aligned to our guidelines
• Utilise our Hubspot CRM system to maximise customer satisfaction and lifetime value
• Line management responsibility for Digital Marketing Executive
• Oversee entries into business awards

Other Essential Skills & Experience

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• >2 years B2B marketing management experience
• Digital marketing experience
• Computer literacy – proficient in Google workspace or word, excel and powerpoint
• Highly numerical
• Copywriting skills
• Experience with CRM systems and e-commerce
• Previous people management experience

Desirable skills & experience

• Recognised marketing qualifications
• IT/security industry experience
• Working knowledge of Hubspot, Click Up, WordPress, Woocommerce, Google Adwords, and Google Analytics
• Full clean driving licence

What success in the role will look like:

Month 1

• You will have developed good working relationships with the team and understand everybody’s roles and responsibilities.
• You will have a grasp of our systems and be gaining confidence in using them.
• You will have a good understanding of our products and services and feel ready to communicate with key stakeholders.
• You will have a sound understanding of our current marketing activities and be ready to recommend what improvements you can make.

Month 3

• You will be working independently and intuitively understand your priorities.
• You will have a solid grasp of our products and services and be confident speaking to stakeholders.
• You will understand our systems and be actively improving how we do things.
• You will be driving marketing performance improvements and making a tangible contribution to the day-to-day running of the business.
