Are you an experienced Office Manager looking to join a dynamic and expanding cybersecurity company?

Here at Assure Technical, we are looking for an Office Manager to join our friendly and supportive team.  Whilst your existing experience is obviously important, we’re also looking for someone who can bring a lot to the table through understanding the needs of our business, proposing and then delivering the best solutions to support our expansion.

The Role

This is a key role that enables the rest of the business to run both efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee business administration tasks – spanning sales, finance, HR, compliance and facilities
  • Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills and errands.
  • Maintain a safe, secure and pleasant work space
  • Supplier management
  • Database management
  • Team recruitment and management 
  • Organising team events and logistics
  • Providing executive support as required
  • Speak to our customers with confidence about our services

Other Essential Skills & Experience

  • Educated to A Level or equivalent 
  • Level 5/C Grade or above in English and Maths GCSE
  • >2 years experience in a similar role
  • Computer literate – proficient in Google workspace or word, excel and powerpoint
  • Database management experience

Desirable skills & experience

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Recognised business qualifications
  • IT/security industry experience
  • Working knowledge of Hubspot, Xero and/or Click Up
  • Full clean driving licence

What success in the role will look like:

Month 1

  • You will have developed good working relationships with the team and understand everybody’s roles and responsibilities.
  • You will have a grasp of our systems and be gaining confidence in using them.
  • You will have a good understanding of our products and services and feel ready to communicate with key stakeholders.
  • You will have an understanding of our current processes and be thinking about what improvements you can make.

Month 3

  • You will be working independently and intuitively understand your priorities.
  • You will have a solid grasp of our products and services and be confident speaking to stakeholders.
  • You will understand our systems and be actively improving how we do things.
  • You will be making a tangible contribution to the day to day running of the business.
