Job Location:

This role can be home-based, hybrid or office-based in Malvern, Worcs. – if you are home-based, there is an expectation that you will spend at least 1 day per month in the office.

There is a need to travel across the UK with a potential for limited international travel.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting penetration tests against Infrastructure, Web and mobile applications while developing IoT testing skills
  • Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and tools to support penetration testing activities with the support of our Penetration Testing Lead.
  • Analyse and interpret test results, prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations in line with current best practice.
  • Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Supporting the Penetration Testing Lead in high end technical security projects.
  • Writing and planning reports
  • Consulting with high-profile clients, building and maintaining relationships.

Salary Range:  £ 38k- £48k – depending on experience

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Two years of practical pen-testing experience (Web app, Mobile, Infrastructure, Cloud)
  • A current Cyber Scheme Team Member (CSTM) or equivalent
  • Be able to undertake SC clearance if not already held.
  • A passion and track record of self-development within offensive security.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems as well as foundational programming skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
